Hi,
I just got really confused by one of my Fuels that I believed was an 800 MHz machine. This was based on serial id's of its components, which are:

030-1932-001 PIMM
030-1707-003 Motherboard

So far every Fuel I worked with and had a PIMM serial number starting with 030-19xx-xxx was an 800 MHz CPU. However, the system reports 600MHz.

This is detailed hinv output:

IRIS 4# hinv -mv
Location: /hw/module/001c01/node
IP34 Board: barcode MMD891 part 030-1707-003 rev -H

I also found some old irixnet post where omeone posted his 800MHz machine hinv and the PIMM serial number is the same:

Obviously my understanding of these machines isn't as good as I thought... I would appriciate any comments on this! Thanks.

Additional clues... During L2 boot this is reported in the console:

DIAG RESULTS:
ALL DIAGS PASSED.
