It appears (I might be wrong) that the display modes on my O2 are all 4:3 modes. I'm wondering what folks do for 16:9 and 16:10 modes? Ideally one could find or program a new mode for 960x540 or something that the O2 has enough unified RAM to display, but wont cause smeary distortion on LCD monitors. I seem to remember I did this before using the SGI video format compiler. Is someone doing this right now that I can get some quickstart tips from?
Maybe it won't matter if I can successfully buy my O2 flat panel adapter. I'm getting ready to pay $350 for one if the guy is still willing.
