NFS trouble

Hi Guys,

I'm having a hard time during setup of two additional systems on my O2s regarding NFS.
It's working fine on the other O2s and now while installing and setting up the third one (two different HDDs), it simply won't work  .
I don't see, what's different and why it's not working on the new installs.
The last working install was some months ago and I don't see what's missing. I never had this issue in the past.

A manual mount command gives me "unknown filesystem type: NFS"!? But: then, the share was mounted and working...
It is now shown in the filesystems overview too. But I wasn't able to set it up via the filesystems app.
What could that be?

Hi Jan,

some pointers that may help you:

- make sure you are using NFSv3
- use mount -t nfs3 ... to mount the share
- turn off or open firewalls appropriately on both sides (if you use any)
