LightWave 3D 6 for IRIX?

[Silicon Classics]

According to everything I've read LightWave stopped at version 5.6 on the Silicon Graphics platform, but the side of the LightWave 6 box in this eBay listing shows IRIX system requirements - does anyone know if version 6 was ever actually released on the platform?

Classic Lee Stranahan, I have several of his VHS training tapes myself. I've really got to make sure they're preserved somewhere and digitize them if not...

Unfortunately, I don't know much about LW outside the Amiga, but I got a chuckle out of knowing at least some of these old videos are out there today.

There are some good LW books on ebay that pop up every once in a while. Worth getting if you are into LW.

I have that lightwave 6 box.. I was fooled by it saying it supported IRIX on the box but the CD/media clearly has no IRIX on it.
