Just for the records: If you ever encounter SCSI timeouts, followed by "General Exception" error and your system stops like this while initializing:

Walking SCSI Adapter 0, (pci id 1)
1timeout on adapter 0 target 1
tm0=0xfffed7df04baa211, tm1=0xede98a2d7, timeout=0xb
- 2timeout on adapter 0 target 2
tm0=0xede98a2d7, tm1=0xede98a2d0, timeout=0xb
- 3+ Device Vendor Product:
4+ Device Vendor Product:
A 000 001c02:
A 000 001c02: *** General Exception on node 0
A 000 001c02: *** EPC: 0xc0000000130dcf04 (0xc0000000130dcf04)
A 000 001c02: *** Press ENTER to continue.

..then replace the yellow snaphat timekeeper battery (M4T28-BR12SH1) on the I/O controller, reboot twice (first time it may still complain without recognizing disks, second run will be fine).
