I have Solaris 11.4 up and running on my newly acquired Sun Fire X4600 M2:
The DVD-ROM in the unit doesn't appear to be working properly, so I couldn't use a DVD ISO to carry out the install! (I'll have to source another drive some time.)
I therefore had to create a bootable USB Solaris 11 text install. (all of the information required to accomplish this can be found in the link below)
I then upgraded the text install with a GUI, by following the steps shown in this video:
