Hi all,
I have taken some Indy machines out of storage and I am making them available to Silicon Graphics User Group members! These Indy machines are from an ex-SGI employee.

These prices are a bit below market, so take advantage! Even the SGIs that are not confirmed working do show signs of life, so they should be worth it at the asking price.

  1. Indy #1:indy: - Boots with video output
    • Claimed by Lady Serena Kitty, no longer for sale
    • R4000 100MHz
    • 64 MByte RAM
    • 24-bit XL graphics
    • Working Sony PSU
  2. Indy #2:indy: - Boots to black screen
    • Claimed by Raion, no longer for sale
    • Not confirmed working, maybe serial console?
    • Unknown CPU/RAM, looks like it might be 64 MByte?
    • 24-bit XL graphics
    • Extra GIO AUI ethernet card
    • Working Sony PSU
  3. Indy #3:indy: - Boots with video output to IRIX 6.2 "engr.sgi.com" config
    • Claimed by jrra, no longer for sale!
    • R4600 133MHz
    • 64 MByte RAM
    • 24-bit XL graphics
    • Floptical drive
    • Working Nidec PSU
  4. Indy #4:indy: - Boots to black screen, no jingle
    • Claimed by @jwcotejr, no longer for sale!
    • Not confirmed working, parts missing, maybe works via serial console?
    • Unknown CPU/RAM
    • Missing Dallas RTC
    • 24-bit XL graphics
    • No PSU supplied - came with dead Nidec
  5. Indy #5:indy: - Boots to black screen with jingle
    • Claimed by @panther5482, no longer for sale!
    • Not confirmed working, maybe works via serial console?
    • Unknown CPU/RAM, looks like it might be 64MByte?
    • 24-bit XL graphics
    • Working Nidec PSU
All prices listed are before shipping & handling. Shipping is the cost of a 19 lb. 18.5x18.5x7 in. package with insurance, from US ZIP code 98660 via UPS or FedEx, plus $12 in packing materials. I try to pack these well and I use new, quality packing materials, and pass on those costs.

Payment via PayPal is most convenient. Claim a machine by posting in this thread.

As an addendum, the "not confirmed working" ones that boot to a black screen may end up being coaxed back to life. It could be something as simple as they are booting to the serial console only, but I do not know right now. If I get them to work, the price will go up to match the working ones, so you have a chance to buy them at a fairly low price and see what is going on yourself!

Hi, can you hold the $40 Indy #5 for me? I should be able to acquire funds in about a week.

Thanks!

Only one Indy left, #4 without power supply / RTC and not confirmed working. I guess I am not surprised this one is the last to go!

If it sits around for too long I will just look towards repairing it and take it off the market.
