Hello all.
Years ago I had a render farm made up of I2's of the teal and purple varieties.
I ran TDI Explore, Alias, Matador, Composer, Softimage on a few frontend machines.
I still have nearly 30 intact machines.
I need to downsize and my love affair with these is over.
The photo is of twelve fully functional I2s with varying graphics boards and amounts of memory.
All are IP22 250Mhz machines. The random o2 is a runner as well as tested over the past couple of days.

Memory is 128MB and up.
Elan GU3 - GU1 Extreme and a couple of Impacts
Then there are another 15 complete machines that have power supplies that don't want to play any longer.
Most are Impacts with a few Teal boxes. Again, complete with processors and memory and graphics boards.

A couple of Octanes as well, I think I have to keep one of those.
I also have a couple of Indigo's not shown, and a couple of Personal Iris 4D boxes.
I'm located in North Carolina.
I've parted out a couple on eBay, but I don't want a new career.
If interested in discussing the purchase of the whole array, feel free to contact me at:

You would need to arrange for pickup, as I will not ship these.
Best regards to you all, thanks for letting me drop this here!
Casey

I know you said they where all ip22s but If you have a R8k power indigo2 I would be interested. Though I live in Illinois. Also if you have both of the turbo graphics boards for the personal iris I would love to buy them from you. I have been looking for a while for them to pop up

I'm looking for a teal Indigo 2 with minimal discoloration and scratches.

Sorry, no R8k PI2.
My 3D35 does have the Turbo Graphics board set in it.
It is really at the bottom of the pile. Right next to the Iris File box! Another odd item there...
Best, Casey

Im interested in what exactly the Iris File Box is. Iv been on the hunt for iris stuff for a while and trying to find software, specifically anything older than irix 4.0. What other iris related stuff do you have?

The Personal Iris File was a box based on the same cabinetry and skins of a Personal Iris, but it was designed to hold multiples of those giant drives. So it was a SCSI external drive vault to match the PI's. I've only seen one, mine. If memory serves, it held a total of 4 drives.
Between the host and this you could have 7 scsi devices, as that was the max for that series as released even though a total of 8 devices could be physically installed.
I started out with the 4D series machines in my animation shop, as I couldn't afford a Crimson. We then went on to the Indigos, and Indigo2s.
I do have a fully functional SGI Dials Box I used with 3D modeling.
