I wouldn't be entirely surprised. An annoying amount of the source RPM spec files from Fedora make
a lot of assumptions too. Which means that even if you get the direct dependencies right, it misses things.

I am a bit confused by what he is telling us, he says the package is missing some requirements. That wording suggests Netsurf isn't working? But to my knowledge, it is working fine. It displays images also, so perhaps it isn't installing this particular jpeg library simply because that library is already inside sgug.
