Lost CD and Microphone Icons

Greetings all,

For some reason I no longer see the icons for the CD Rom and Microphone on my O2 Desktop running 6.5.4. In addition when I go to system mgr and attempt to launch removable media mgr is does not launch.

CD Rom is listed via hinv and I can browse contents if I go to /CDROM.

Try in a shell as root

chkconfig mediad on

Reboot

This issue has been resolved, not sure what caused it but after a few reboots it relinked the icons.
