Dabbled a bit with this, got it to a point where a bunch of tests fail but a larger bunch of tests succeed.


With some work, this could give us all kinds of things such as CMake, Node.js and whatever.

Does IRIX have something that could be used to implement fsevents? What I did was just adding the supplied nop shim to disable the functionality for now.

If you need file system events to be passed to libuv, consider using the 'fam' service and libfam.so/a.

If it is mainly for CMake, keep in mind that CMake has removed IRIX support in version 3.9 and made libuv mandatory in 3.7

Oh yeah, fam seems to provide all the needed stuff. Thank you!

Now there are 36 failing tests out of 362, and of those failures 16 are related to fsevents which is currently missing. Besides CMake there was something else that required this - I'll probably run into it someday.
