Hello Yall, Iv been playing with my Personal iris 4d/20 which has a IP6 board. Its started to error on boot where the Interrupt mask registers test fails. I am suspect of the interupt controller which is labeled L1A4629 that has a Xilinx 2064 FPGA. This is programmed at boot which is where I think my failure is. It *sometimes* boot succesfully after sitting for a bit and is able to run without issue but once you power it off it goes back to the same issue. Im thinking that it doesn't properly reset the fpga and when I turn it back on it doesn't program correctly. Im hoping that this is a silly issue but im suspecting that chip is going and there is no replacing it.

I also found a nekochan post about this same issue but it doesn't really give much info on whats wrong.

Here is the error itself.

Code:
Console DUART test PASSED
Memory walking bit test PASSED
Memory address uniqueness test PASSED
Interrupt mask registers test
                                                                - ERROR -
LIO interrupt status indicates interrupt(s) pending, 0x6cfb

If anyone knows anything or has a replacement IP6 board that would be incredible. Thanks!

Well after some fiddling around I belive that my issue was simplier than a scary dead chip. When removing the e-module from the case it would work without issue. I think its due to e-module being good at bending the boards it had a lousy conneciton or cracked solder joint.
