I bought this to pull the processor out so it's a complete system except for the CPU. It didn't come with a hard drive unfortunately. I did a bit of clean up to remove dust. The system turns on and you can get to the PROM (see photos) but there's no HDD so no ability to install IRIX and test further. It all looks in pretty good shape. There's a bit of rust on the fan for the PSU, same for the chassis fan. The PCI card cage appears to be working (hinv reports the ethernet card installed but doesn't know what it is). Photos of all parts and the system bellow. Let me know if you want something not listed like a bit of plastic or chassis hardware or something. I'm located in NY, 14432. Because it can vary so much buyer to pay shipping. I'll ship international as well, I have a UPS account so that's the way it would be shipped if you want to check rates.

Here are the most important parts. Not quite sure what to ask, there's not a ton of price data on some stuff like the V12 (last one on here was $700 OBO, but don't know what it went for). Let me know any offers. All XIO boards will be shipped with 3D printed CPOP covers.

The good stuff:
  • VPro V12 graphics - this will come with the tri-carrier - $700 SOLD
  • DM2 board - $125 SOLD
  • FC board - $25 (see photo there's 1 capacitor that looks like it took a blow, I think it came this way from the factory. Probably just needs to be reflowed to sit lower on the PCB).
  • Dual Gb Ethernet PCI card - $75
  • PCI card cage - $75 SOLD
  • PSU - $50 SOLD
  • System Module - $50
  • Memory (512MB kits 2x256MB) - $40 ea. SOLD
  • Midplane - $75 SOLD
  • Metal chassis with plastic - $Shipping
If anyone just wants the whole system as it is (minus CPU and HDD) for $925 + shipping I'll take that. I'm not trying to make any profit just want to break even in the hobby pretty much, lol.

Let me know if you have any questions or want more detailed photos or something. Due to the age of everything and just the nature of the hobby everything has to be sold as-is. It works right now but I have no way of testing certain things like the FC card. I can run some more tests if needed (the hardware diagnostics off of the install CDs mainly) but nothing lasts forever and we all know hearts can change.

You can get a hold of me faster on Discord probably than on the forum but I'll check the forum a couple times a day. FYI I'm on Eastern time (UTC-4).

I'm interested in the bones of the system. The midplane/backplane in particular. If you don't want to rip it out, I'd take the remainder of what's left. I have a system that isn't even booting up as far as yours, so hopefully between the two, I can get 1 working system. I don't need the PCI card cage either, or the cards in them. I'm in Toronto, Canada, so not too far from NY and hopefully shipping won't be crazy.

Sure, I can extract the midplane very easily. DM me your particulars or you can message me on the discord. Parcel Monkey says about $25 for UPS standard to Canada for a ~4kg parcel.
