A Reminder: Buying and Selling on the platform.

Hardware Goon
Hey guys -- we're all happy to buy and sell parts from one another. We have a section specifically for that.

Remember -- if a transaction starts to get complicated, ie: you email my friend, who has another friend that has the parts, shut it down.

You don't want to fall victim to a scam, and setups like that are almost always a scam. Buy from folks you know, or from others on the site that are reputable sellers. Feel free to reach out to any of the admins if you've got doubts.

Do not send money to anyone friends and family. Always get good photos of the kit you're trying to buy. Scams on the internet aren't new -- don't fall victim to one.

I might add, reverse image search on any photos sent to you. It isn't a perfect method, but can reveal some scams.
